Rajinikanth’s “Kabali” has created history in the United States by registering the highest viewership for an Indian film premiere, thereby getting an earth-shattering collection at the box office. It has also broken the records of “Bahubali” and Salman Khan’s recent movie, “Sultan.”
Rajinikanth’s Kabali has hit the theatres today (July 22) and thus its box office speculations are on. Yes! the talk about the film’s collections are already in an upheaval. Trade is predicting that Rajinikanth’s Kabali will do over Rs 100 crore box office collection in first three days of release. This is over and above the Rs 200 crore that the film has reportedly made with various corporate deals and sale of its music and satellite rights.

Kabali is booked solid the first three days after its release. The Rajinikanth starrer is releasing in over 5000 screens all across the world, including 400 in the US.

All tickets were gone in Chennai theatres a few hours after advance booking opened. A similar scene was enacted in Bengaluru and neighbouring Kerala. In America, certain theatres reported that all advance booking seats were gone within two hours of the counters opening.

In certain theatres, the demand is so high that 5 am shows are being organised for the fans and even those tickets are gone.

Kabali producer Thanu has reportedly claimed that the movie will earn over Rs 500 crore. “I expect the movie to make more than Rs 500 crore when it releases. It will be bigger than Baahubali because that is the power and stature of Rajinikanth,” the producer told Firstpost.
